Tirupati is located in Andhra Pradesh, India. Tirupati is an ancient Hindu temple town having historical references in Puranas. The temple of Lord Venkateswara is located on the Tirumala hill and Tirupati is at the foot steps of the Tirumala hills.

Tirupati Venkateswara Temple is a famous Hindu temple of Lord Venkateswara located in the hill town Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. The temple is located on the Venkatachalam hill that forms part of the seven hills of Tirumala, and hence the temple is also known as the Temple of Seven Hills.. The presiding deity of the temple, Lord Venkateswara, is also known by other names - Balaji or Srinivasa.

According to the legend, the temple has a self-manifested murti of Lord Vishnu, with the Lord believed to reside here for the entire Kali Yuga. The temple is the most visited Hindu place of worship, and is the world's second richest in terms of the offerings made by pilgrims to the God[1] and gifts given by visiting pilgrims. In Sri Vaishnava tradition, the temple is considered one of the 108 Divya Desam sites

According to legend, Lord Venkateswara stayed here after his marriage with Sri Padmavathi Devi, before proceeding to Tirumala. . Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati adjacent to the railway station (Lord Vishnu in Anantasayanam pose). Saint Ramanujacharya consecrated this temple in 1130 AD. . Kapila Teertham in Tirupati town at the base of Tirumala Hills dedicated to Lord Siva . Sri Kodandaramaswami Temple, Tirupati built by Chola kings during the tenth century AD . Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple at Srikalahasti . Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswami temple at Narayanavanam (40 km from Tirupati). Lord Sri Venkateswaraswami and Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru, daughter of Akasa Maharaja were married here.

Tiruttani is a town in Thiruvallur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the main tourist centre in Thiruvallur district about 85km from Chennai. Tiruttani hill temple is one of the six abodes of Lord Muruga. The hill has 365 steps indicating 365 days of the year. It is 15km from Andhra Pradesh state. Tiruttani is well connected with both Railway and Bus transport facilities. Nearby Famous temples are Madhur Arulmigu Mahishasuramardhini temple, Nallatur Arulmigu Veera Anjaneya temple, Arulmigu Arumugaswami temple etc.
